James Phillip Valdez left this earth on Saturday June 24, 2017.
He was known to all by "Jamie" and was born in Thursday February 8, 1962 to parents Pete and Rose Valdez.
Jamie was a loving father, son, brother, cousin, and friend to many, and was there to help anyone he could. He worked as an agriculture worker for over 20 years and was a HUGGEE Dolphins football fan.

He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by 4 brothers: Pete Valdez, Jr., Juan Valdez (his twin brother) Nick Valdez and Samuel Valdez, 3 sisters: Josphine Valdez, Theresa Valdez-Myers and Rosemary Valdez-Serrata.
5 children: Daniel Lee Hayes, Christopher Pete Valdez, James Phillip Valdez, Jr., Jasmine Rose Hayes and Janie Valdez, 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 4th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Brister Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday July 5, 2017 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
