James G. Raynor, 71 of Immokalee, Florida was granted his angel wings on March 6, 2011. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Jameshad touched in some small way throught his long life, which was a very memorable life.

Mr. Raynor was born in Lyman, NC October 18, 1939 to Gary Raynor and Ruthie Hunter Raynor.

He was a proud member of the National Guard for many years.

He was married to his loving wife Shirley Raynor for over 52 years and they owned and operated the well known restaurant in Immokalee called Raynor's Seafood of Immokalee, Inc.

He will be remembered for his love not only of his family, but for bass fishing golfing and racing with all his famiy and friends throught his life.

James is survived by his wife Shirley Raynor, two daughters; Wanda and Lisa along with one son; Doug, daughter-in-law Deanna. Three grandchildren; Michael, Stacy and Magan.One great grandchild; Aaron James Raynor. Sisters; Lula Lanier, Hazeline Blaylock and Maydele Dail, brother Johm Hendry Raynor, nieces nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2011 from 6-8 pm at First Baptist Church, Immokalee, FL. The Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM at the church on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 with Pastor Dennie Norvell officiating.
Burial will follow at the Baptist Cemetery in Immokalee.
