Jesus  Mendez-Acabal 73 years old, went to Heavens Gates August 11, 2019.

Jesus was born in Guatemale December 24, 1945 to mother Maria Cecilia Acabal Ramirez Mendez and father Pedro Mendez. Her favorite things involved her family and being around them.  She also loved to watch soccer.

Ms. Mendez-Acabal is survived by her children: Irene Guzman, Ceasar Guzman, Manuel Guzman and Reyna Guzman along with many many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Carmen Guzman.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Brister Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00-7:30 pm.   The funeral mass will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 am.  Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
