We are saddened to announce the passing of John David Hernandez on August 12, 2022. He was 51 years old.

John was born in Corpus Cristi, Texas to father Jesse Hernande and mother Sylvia Hellberg Hernandez on July 10, 1971. He graduated from Immokalee High and entered into the United Stated Army.  John enjoyed dancing and music, one of his favorites was Elvis but his passion was martial arts and the history and symbolism of the art. He was a martial arts instructor and a number of years ago moved to Tamarac, Florida from Immokalee to be more immersed in the culture.

The calling hours/ visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from 6:00-7:45 pm at Brister Funeral Home Chapel, 221 North 3rd Street, Immokalee FL. Cremation will be the final disposition.
