Jose Luis Betancourt of Immokalee, Florida passed away on January 10, 2024, following a long illness in Tampa, Florida. He was born in Crosbyton, Texas on February 19, 1963, to Trinidad and Rebecca Perez Betancourt. He enjoyed watching drag races as a pass time and will be missed by all who knew him.

He leaves behind two sons, Joel Betancourt, Jose Betancourt and five daughters, Samantha Torres, Brittany Herrera, Christina Cruz, Tiffany Betancourt, Briana Stackhouse along with fifteen grandchildren.

There will be a viewing and service at Brister Funeral Home chapel on Saturday January 20, 2024, starting at 10:00 am.  Cremation.
