Jose M. "Chema Loya's Obituary
Jose M. Loya, known to all as 'CHEMA" was called to the Lord September 19, 2016 after a short illness.
He was born to father Salvador Loya, Sr., and mother Alberta Cano Loya October 12, 1955 in Raymondville, Texas.
Although Chema was only 60 years young, he made an impact on all. His great sense of humor helped many through difficult times, he enjoyed life to the fullest and the last months he became closer to the Lord. "He stumbled carrying his cross, but he picked it up again"
Chema is survived by Son Alerto, 1 grandson: Timothy, siblings; Salvador Loya jr., Maria Loya, Oscar Loya (Lelonor), Roy Loya and Rubin (Alejandra). He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers: Juan Campos and Ector Loya.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 6-8:00 pm at Brister Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church Friday September 23, 2016 beginning at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
