Mr. Jose Enrique Herrera passed away in Naples, Florida May 17, 2019.

He was born in Mexico to mother Francisca Gamez and he owned his own food truck that he worked on for many years in and around Immokalee.  He loved being with his large extended family and grandchildren.

Jose is survived by his wife: Rosa Herrera, 1 son: Enrique Herrera, 3 daughters: Pearla Herrera, Sandra Herrera and Luz Lara, and 28 grandchildren, along with many friends and extended family.  He was preceded in death by daughter Virginia Herrera who passed away August 10, 2018.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Brister Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00-7:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday May 23, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
