**PLACE OF VISITATION HAS BEEN CHANGED**
Jose Luis Herrera 64 of Immokalee, Florida was called home to Heaven April 2, 2015.
Jose was visiting family in Brownsville, Texas when he became ill and passed away. He was born in Brownsville to his late father Elutario Herrera and mother Aurora Herrera on November 5, 1951.
Mr. Herrera worked many years for the Collier County Parks and Recreation Department. He was known for many things, including his love of being with his children, grandcildren, siblings and extended family.
Jose is survived by sons (3): Robert Lee Herrera, Jose Herrera and Elutario Herrera; daughters (2): Noemi Herrera and Daniella Herrera, 18 grandchildren, six (6) siblings: Maria Ellena Gutierrez, Margarita Herrera, Rodolfo Herrera, Alonso Herrera, Oralia Herrera and Rosario Trevino Herrera.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at First Baptist Church, (located at the corner of Lake Trafford Rd and S.R. 29 across from CVS) from 6-8 00 pm. Cremation was requested by family.
