Jose M. Martinez 76 of Immokalee, Florida was called to Heaven on March 16, 2011.

Mr. Martinez was born in Weslaco, Texas September 12, 1934 to parents Fidencio and Concepcion Leal Martinez. He was married to his beloved wife Maria A. Martinez until her death May 16, 2004. He worked in agriculture and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Immokalee.

Jose will be remembered for many things, but his love of family and being involved with family activites and spending time with the grandchildren were the things he loved most of all.

He is survived by by nine children; Rosalinda Martinez, Martha M. Yslas, Graciela Martinez, Fidencio Martinez, Jose Luis Martinez, Mario Martinez, Juanita Martinez, Martin Martinez and Noelia Martinez along with twenty-four (24) grandchildren and fourty-seven (47) great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday March 18, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church from 4:00 pm to promptly 6:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday March 19th at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
