Jose S. Garcia 70 years old of Immokalee, was called to the Lords open arms September 27, 2019.

Mr. Garcia was born in GTO, Mexico to father Jose M. Garcia and mother Luz Manduajo. He met his beloved wife Maria E. Perez and they were married for 52 years. They came to the United States 48 years ago, with their oldest son and 1 daughter on the way. He worked with tile and stone in the construction business, loved to listen to music and play the harmonica and dancing. He enjoyed watching boxing and in his earlier years he did some sparring. Jose loved growing vegetable's, planting and taking care of flowers and his garden.

He is survived by his wife Maria Garcia, children: Juan Garcia, Maria J. Garcia,  Guadalupe Garcia, Maria E. Garcia, Martha G. Garcia, Nancy C. Garcia, Manuel Garcia, Angelo Garcia, 28 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son: Jose Garcia and baby Garcia, grandsons: Loeza Garcia and Carlos Garcia, and granddaughter: Lydia Grace Ybarra.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 6:00-7:30 pm.  The funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
