Josefa Jacobo's Obituary
Josefa Jacobo 63 of Immokalee earned her halo as she was called to Heaven January 26, 2017.
Ms. Jacobo was born in Alpine, Texas to father Felix Riojas and Julia Hernandez.
She loved the Lord. In her earlier years she had a street ministry and became "famous" for making great tamales and selling them to help the homeless. Josefa loved working with the Cancer Awareness group and was part of starting the Relay for Life also in Immokalee. Josefa always had a smile on her face and will be remembered for being a happy person-like the pastels she wore and looked so good in.
She is survived by one son; Pedro Jacobo, two daughters; Diana Arevalo and Yolando Hernandez, eight grandchildren along with three sisters and five brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Iglesia Herederos (in Kemp plaza) beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Espinosa officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
