Josefina A. Nunez, 89, passed away on Wednesday June 28, 2023, in Naples, Florida. She was born in La Paloma, Texas on June 3, 1934, to Ignacio Agado and Guadalupe Benavides Agado. She loved sewing, quilting, gardening, crafting and above else all of her family.

She leaves behind to mourn her six children: Esmeralda Duarte (Jose), Vivian Lewis (Billy), Luis Nunez (Robin), Velma Cortes (Conrado), Elia Nunez (Amando), Sonia Nunez along with eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; Ignacio and Guadalupe Nunez, Husband; Luis G. Nunez, son; Rodolfo Nunez and a great grandson; Rudy Taylor Lewis.

There will be a viewing Sunday night July 2, 2023, at the Brister Funeral Home chapel from 6-8 pm and a funeral service on Monday July 3, 2023, at The Guadalupe Catholic Church 10 am. Burial to follow at lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
