Josephine "Josie" Hallman was unexpectedly called into the Lords open arms September 2, 2019.

Josie is the mother of Joseph J. Brister of Immokalee. She was born in Pennsylvania and moved to South Florida as a teenager.

She became the Emergency Room Director in Bluntstown, Florida. Moving back to Cape Coral she received her degree in radiology where she worked in the hospitals and walk in clinics as an X-Ray technician. She was a "Catholic Christian" and a long time member of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Cape Coral. She was a eucharistic minister for many years, along with teaching Sunday school, and was involved in most every organized event in the church. One of her greatest joys was going with the church to Israel and walk in the path that Jesus took.

She is survived by son: Joseph Brister (Barb), daughter-in-law: Serena Hallman, granddaughters: Sierra Brister and Harli Hallman, sisters: Sue Bartolotto and Ellie Aviles, along with niece Michelle Throop (Dave) and two great-nephews: Zak and Blake

There will be an urn burial on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the Baptist Cemetery, Immokalee, FL at 11:30 am with Father Wilner officiating.
