Juan Manuel Herrera Jr., 19 years young of Immokalee, passed away unexpectedly May 5, 2018.
Juan was born March 18, 1999 to father Juan M. Herrera, Sr. and mother Blanca Estella Garcia in Naples, Florida.
He worked at the Family Dollar on New Market Road in Immokalee. He was scheduled to graduate this year. Juan played on the Immokalee High School Football Team and loved the game. His favorite team was Florida State--he loved it so much he got a large tattoo of the Florida State's mascot on his arm. He liked to listen to rap music and even made a cd of himself singing rap songs.
Juan will be forever missed by family and friends, including his loving mother: Blanca Garcia, father: Juan Herrera, Sr., step-mother: Jessica Herrera, 7 siblings: Stephaenie Trujillo, Virginia Camargo, Steven Truillo, Nana Herrera, Andrea Herrera, Andres Herrera and Alejandra Herrera, maternal grandparents: Rosa Roman and Luis Garcia, paternal grandparents: Lucia Herrera and Rafael Herrera along with many aunts, uncle, cousins and extended family.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 14, 2018 From 6:00 -8:00 PM at Brister Funeral Home Chapel. The Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 a.m. The burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
