Juan Salinas, Jr. passed away at his home May 5, 2018.

Juan was born in Brownsville, Texas to father Juan Sr., and mother Trinidad Bruiton. He worked as a tractor driver in the agriculture fields, he loved driving the tractor so much that it was more like a hobby then a job.  He also was a dog track enthusiast and enjoyed watching t.v.-especially old western movies.  He loved most being around his family.

Mr. Salinas, Jr. will be greatly missed by all that knew him, including his wife: Maria Longoria, daughters: Trinidad Salinas-Aviles (Juan), Sylvia Yzaguirre Mercado( Anthony), and Eangelina Erebia (Jose), sons: Jose Yzaguirre (Liza), Homer Yzaguirre, Armando Yzaguirre (Lupe) and Miguel Yzaguirre, 24 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, sisters: Manuela Gonzales (Pete) and Elida Blaz, brother: Victor Salinas along with many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Manual and Phillip Salinas.

Visitation and a service will be held at Brister Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday May 10, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Final disposition will be cremation.
