Juan "Mango" Montes Sr., 66, of Immokalee, Florida passed away March 18, 2023 following a long illness. He was born on May 12, 1956 in Miami, Florida to Jesus Montes Sr. and Catarina Erebia Montes. Mango worked in the farming industries for over 20 years and then was a self-taught mechanic for the remainder of his life.  He enjoyed music and fishing as his pastime.  If he didn't have a wrench in his hand he had a fishing pole or a guitar!

He leaves behind a whole community and these loved ones to remember him, wife; Mary Ann Montes, Daughters; Christie Betancourt, Joann Santana and Illiana M. Senteno, sons; Richard Montez, Juan Montes Jr. and Armando Garza along with eighteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and eight living siblings. Mr. Montes will have a Celebration of Life on Thursday March 23, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. -12:00p.m. at the Brister Funeral Home Chapel.
