Lydia Estrada 62 of Immokalee, passed away unexpectedly July 27, 2016.
Mrs. Estrada was born in Alice, Texas to Justino Cruz and Ernestina Lopez Cruz on May 27, 1954. She met her beloved husband Reynaldo in 1972 and married in 1976-together over 40 years.
Lydia enjoyed sewing and cross word puzzles. She always wanted to get back to the country way of living--like in Texas. She liked yard work and in earlier years she helped plant grass, trees, shrubs and flowers. Lydia always had a smile on her face and will be remembered as a sweet woman. She loved southern food, her husband, children, and her sibling's.
She is survived by husband: Reynaldo Estrada, Sr., (3) daughters; Diana, Rachael and Sandra Estrada, (2) sons; Reynaldo Jr. and Jessie Estrada (Annie), (12) grandchildren; Lalo, Mariah, Noelia and Olivia Vargus, Jerimia, Jennifer, Jacob Gutierrez and Kaliup Vargas. Andrien, Antonio, Kaloni and Giovanni Estrada. (1) great-grandchild; Mikael J. Navaro. (5) siblings; Justino Cruz Jr.(Betty), Joe Crus Sr. (Petra), Rene Cruz (Christy), Ramon Cruz (Rita) and IsaBella Cruz.
***NOTE CHANGE***Visitation will be held on Monday, August 1, 2016 at Iglesia Bautista De Jesucristo, North 2nd Street Immokalee, from 6-8:00 pm. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 beginning at 10:00 am at Brister Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
