Heaven received a new Angel when God called Magdalena Vasquez home to receive her wings on October 2, 2022. She had just turned 29 years old just one month before.

Mina as she liked to be called, was born in Brownsville, Texas to father Marco Antonio Vasquez and mother Olga Resendez Vasquez on August 21, 1993. She grew up in Immokalee with her family and graduated from Immokalee High School. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She enjoyed going to the casino and listening to music. So many of her friends were truly extra family members.

Mina is survived by her father Marco Antonio Vasquez, 2 brothers: Antonio and Orlando Vasquez, 2 sisters: Julians Vasquez and Leticia Hernandez, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her mother Olga Vasquez on September 5, 2019.

Calling hour/visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Brister Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00-7:45 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
