Maria Reyna Anez, 69 of Immokalee, FL passed away December 9, 2012 with her family by her side.

Mrs. Anez was born in Corpus Christi, Texas February 27, 1943 to father Jose T. Reyna and mother Olivia Aguirre Reyna.

She married Juan Pablo Anez and had three children. Maria worked as a Teacher's Aide in Immokalee Elementary School's. She will be remembered for many things, including her love of family and her enjoyment of reading and playing bingo.

Mrs. Anez is survived by her husband Juan Pablo Anez, one son: Daniel Anez (Gloria), two daughters;Teresa Anez and Linda Anez,and six grandchildren. Two sisters; Hilda Reyna and Oralia Nunez and three brothers: Lucio, Richard and Joe T. Reyna, along with many nieces, nephews and extended family. Maria was preceded in death by brothers Virgilio and Ruben Reyna.

Visitation will be held December 12, 2012 at Brister Funeral Chapel from 6-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held December 13, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Cremation will follow.
