Maria C. Gallegos walked into the arms of the Lord December 16, 2012.Mrs. Gallegos was born in Kerrville, Texas  November 9, 1938 to father John Castillo and mother Epifania Contreras Castillo. Maria worked many years as a cashier at Miners Grocery Store in Immokalee before her retirement.  She will be remembered for many good things, but mostly for her love she had for her family.She is survived by four daughters; Norma Guerra (Noel), Naomi Aponte (Carlos), Melinda Hernandez (Carlos) and Josie Means (Amandalo): two sons; Rudy Gallegos (Maggie) and John Gallegos (Ninfa): 30 grandchildren,  33 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by son Robert C. Gallegos and daughter-in-law Julia Gallegos. Visitation will be held at Bethel Assembly of God, Friday December 21, 2012 from 6-8 pm.  The funeral service will be held December 22, 2012 beginning at 10:00 am also at the church.  Burial will follow at The Baptist Cemetery, Immokalee, FL.
