Maria Elena Lopez 91 years old of Immokalee, passed away at her home surrounded by her family April 24, 2021.

Mrs. Lopez was born in Puerto Rico to mother Maria Gonzalez. She was married to her loving husband Pablo and enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother.  Maria liked the idea that she was passing the family history to her grandchildren by spending time with them, sharing, teaching, cooking and spreading great memories with everyone in the family. Her favorite color was red and she always enjoyed dancing and playing dice and dominoes.

Maria Elena is survived by 1 son: Luis Lopez (Ivy) 5 daughters: Gladys Lopez (Jose) Janet Lopez, Maria Lopez, Anita Lopez and Alicia Diaz (Raul) 25 grandchildren and 87 great grandchildren. She mourned the loss of her husband Pablo Lopez Ramos Sr. who passed just 23 days before she joined him at Heavens Gates April 1, 2021 where she also joined her son Pablo Lopez, Jr. who passed just 5 months before her, November 12, 2020.

There will be a visitation/calling hours on Friday, April 30, 2021at Brister Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00-8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the same chapel on Saturday, May 1, 2021 beginning at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
