Maria Guadalupe Moya 85 of Naples and Immokalee, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.

Maria was a strong woman who was a Christian and a member of Bethel Assembly of God in Immokalee.  She instilled her love of family and God to her children and grandchildren. She not only enjoyed sewing, she was good at it and made many clothes and items for the home for her family and friends. Maria was born in Ricardo, Texas on February 17, 1936 to father Vincente Cerda and mother Paula Casanova Cerda.

She will be missed and mourned by many but her family knows they will see her again. She leaves behind 4 daughters: Maria V. Moya, Maria A. Maldonado, Maria O Moya, and Maria G. Balderas, 4 sons: Juan Moya, Luis Moya, Daniel Moya and Esequiel Moya, 37 grandchildren and 65 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Israel Moya in 2007, and 2 sons: David Moya 2015 and Israel Moya, Jr., in 2009.

The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Bethel Assembly of God, Immokalee beginning at 11:00 am.  Calling hour will be held 1 hour prior to service-at 10:00 am also at the church.  Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
