Maria E. Ponce 76 of Immokalee
was called to Heaven September 28, 2009.

Mrs. Ponce was born in Juchipida, Zacatecaz, Mexico March 17, 1933 to Roque Aguilera and Micaela Castaneda Aguilera. She married Trinidad Ponce and loved being a wife and mother.

Maria is survived by 5 sons; Raul Ponce, Ramiro Ponce, Jaime Ponce, Miguel Ponce and Eric Ponce, 5 daughters; Maria Rosales, Carmen Vega, Delores Gonzalez, Elisa Landaverde, and Emalda Carreno.
Thirty-five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Sisters; Amparo Ponce, and Elisa Tower and one brother: Cayetano Aguilera. She was preceded in death by her daughter;Guadalupe Nunez and husband; Trinidad Ponce.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Brister Funeral Home 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church Friday, October 2, 2009, 10:00 am.
Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
