Heaven received a new angel July 5, 2020 when Maria Dolores  Ponce Gonzalez, 55 years old of Immokalee answered the Lords call.

Maria was born in Jalisco, Mexico to father Trinidad Ponce and mother Emma Aguilar Ponce May 8, 1965. Maria worked as a cook at RCMA and enjoyed cooking so much it was more a hobby.  She loved cooking shows, loved to cook for family and friends and to watch her Novela tv shows but most of all she loved being with her large family, no matter what they were doing.

She is survived by her husband: Jose Oviedo Gonzales, Sr. 1 daughter: Carina Gonzalez, 3 sons: Jose Gonzales, Jr., Carlos and Ramiro Gonzalez along with 11 brother and sisters, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Guadalupe Nunez.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens beginning at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at the cemetery.
