Maria C Turrubiartez's Obituary
Maria C. Turrubiartez 82 of Immokalee, was called to Heaven November 13, 2015.
Mrs. Turrubiartez was born in Ciudad del Maize, San Luis Potosi, Mexico to father Juan Querros and mother Manuela Querros. She worked hard for her large family. She would work in the fields and then go home to care for her husband and children.
Maria enjoyed crocheting, making quilts for her family, gardening and cooking; she was famous for her Mole and Tamalies. But she loved being with her family the most.
She is survived by her beloved family, including sons: Alejandro, Rodolfo (Sharon), Arturo (Lupe), Jorge, Nicolas, Jr., Adam (Matilda), Juan, Jose Turrubiartez. Daughters: Rosita Turrubiartez, Francisca Cortez, Gloria Turrubiartez and Carmen (Monico) Hernandez, 39 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, sister Alberta from Texas along with extended family and friends.
There will be a Visitation at Brister Funeral Home Chapel , Tuesday November 17, 2015 from 6-8 p.m.. The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens, Immokalee.
