Maria Vargas 77 of Immokalee, received her angel wings when she answered The Lord's call March 7, 2021

Maria was born in Weslaco, Texas to father Jose Gonzalez and mother Tomasa Rodriguez Gonzalez October 8, 1943. She owned her own store when she was younger and enjoyed being with her large family.

There will be a visitation on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Brister Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00-7:45 pm.  Maria will then have the Funeral Mass and burial in Texas.

She is survived by 3 daughters: Maria N. Krause, Maria D. Vargas, RosaLinda G. Vargas, 4 sons: Rosendo Vargas, Pedro Vargas, Francisco Vargas and Lalo Vargas, 35 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren along with her sibling, nieces and nephews extended family and friends.
