Mario Posada, 81, of Immokalee, Florida, passed away following a long illness in Naples, Florida on August 16, 2023. He was born in Weslaco, Texas on July 14, 1942, to Mauro and Maria Lopez Posada. He was an avid fisherman who loved working on projects and spending time with his family.

He leaves behind to cherish the many memories his wife, Angelita Arredondo Posada, two sons, Mario Posada III, Noel Posada, three daughters, Graciela Rice, Criselda Marrero and Lorenzo Lagunes as well as eighteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.

There will be a viewing at Brister Funeral Home chapel on Monday August 21, 2023, from 6-8 pm and a funeral service at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Tuesday August 22 at 10:00 am. Burial to follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
