Mark Anthony Valdez 34 of Immokalee, lost his battle with diabetes and passed away April 19, 2010.

Mark was born in Henry County, Indiana to father Pedro Valdez and mother Elvira Palacios Valdez.

He marred Erica Cisneros Valdez April 2000 in Immokalee, FL and had three children. Before his disability he worked in the maintenance department for the Seminole Indian Casino.

Mark will be remembered for the love of his children and wife, his love of music--"current/pop" some rap and singing with his son Julian.

He is survived by his wife Erica Valdez, two sons; Zachary and Julian Valdez and daughter Soyla Reina Valdez, father Pedro Valdez, mother Elvira Palacios Valdez, brother Simon Valdez and sister Crystal Valdez. Mother-in-law Maria Dimas and father-in-law Mr. Cisneros, along with aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held Friday April 22, 2011 at Brister Funeral Home from 6-8 pm. A rosary will start promptly at 6:00 pm. Cremation will follow.
