Mary Ester Castro 74 of Immokalee passed away June 10, 2020.

Mary was born in Hamlin, Texas to father Esquiel Martinez and Mother Francisca Contreras Martinez. She married her husband Octaviano Castro and enjoyed being a wife and mother to her large family. She loved sewing and knitting and gave many away as gifts.

Mary is survived by her husband Octaviano Castro Sr., 2 sons: Octaviano Castro, Jr. and Daniel Castro, 5 daughters: Delores Deleon, Anna Aguillon, Noemi Trujillo, Adella Castro, and Juana Onley along with 39 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by grandson Ricky Trevino in 2009.

There was a graveside funeral service held June 17, 2020, at 10:00 am at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens with Pastor Robert Turrubiartes. Burial followed.
