Mrs. Mary Alice Gross 90 of Immokalee, Florida went into the Lord's open arms November 1, 2019.

Mary Alice was born in Panama City, Florida August 19, 1929. She married her beloved husband Lendon Gross, Sr. and enjoyed her life as wife and mother.  She also worked outside the house as a supervisor at the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Mary Alice was a great cook and baker. She won first and second place ribbons many times for her awesome baking--everything from cakes, pies and cookies to canned goods, mostly from the Collier County Fair. She also loved to cook for church functions. She had been a 40 year plus member of First Baptist Church in Immokalee before changing to Felda Baptist Church. She always had flower and vegetable gardens that she enjoyed working in to receive "the fruits of her labor". The color of royalty was her favorite color; purple.

She is survived by her two sons: Lendon Gross, Jr. (Cathy) and Andy Gross (Brenda), seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Felda Baptist Church, 91 North Willis Ranch Road, Felda, FL beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery, S.R. 82, Fort Myers.
