Mary Holmer 85 of Bonita Springs was called to Heaven December 11, 2011.

Mrs. Holmer was born in Dingolfing, Germany on March 16, 1926.

Mary along with her husband George Holmer II, owned and operated Woodland Golf Course Restaurant and Bar in Brighton, Michigan for 15 years. Most of her life she was a wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed being a homemaker for her family. She was a devoted member of St. Leo's Catholic Church in Bonita Springs. Her favorite flowers were Lily of the Valley and Yellow Roses.

Mrs. Holmer is survived by her daughter Connie Hubert (Gregory), daughter-in-law Cheryl Holmer. Grandchildren: from her son George; George Holmer IV, and Michael Holmer. From her son Gary; Gary Michael Holmer, Jason Holmer and Amanda Holmer. Her daughter gave her one grandson; Gregory Adams. There are also five great-grandchildren; Zachary, Tyler, Bethaney, Jimmy and Kaylen. She was preceded in death by her husband George Holmer II, and sons George Holmer III and Gary Holmer.
