Mary Lou Martinez, 71 was called home to Heaven June 2, 2009.

Mrs. Martinez was born in Big Springs, Texas to Jose Maria Flores, Sr. and Enriqueta Ochoa Flores and worked in the agriculture farming industry.

Mrs. Martinez married the love of her life Rafeal Martinez 56 years ago in Lovington, New Mexico.

She will always be remembers as a Wounderful Wife, Great Mom, and
and caretaker to all; family, and friends alike--she would always be sure there was food on the stove "just in case someone came by". She loved being surround by children and seeing the grandchildren and great grandchildren play.

She is survived by her husband: Rafael Martinez, Sr., children;
Ralph Martinez, Jr., Hendry, Joe, Ruben, Lucy, Rudy Martinez and Kyrstal Beccera. Twenty-three grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Siblings: Moses Flores, Mary Helen Santiago, Margie Esparza, Arthur Flores and Tina Alley. Preceded in death by parents, brother Jessie Flores,and three sisters: Lilly Lopez, Sabina Martinez, Mary Ann Flores and 1 great grandson.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2009 6-8pm at Brister Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, 9:30 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
