Maudie Sage's Obituary
Maudie Sage 73, of Lehigh Acres, passed away at Hope Hospice July 8, 2017 surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Sage was born in Fort Myers, November 17, 1943 to father James Watson and mother Avis Handley Watson. She married her husband Linton Sage and enjoyed raising their family in and around Immokalee.
Maudie worked for the Collier County Public School System in Immokalee for 49 years, mostly in the guidance department as a secretary. She enjoyed embroidery and is known to still have the friends she grew up, as well as the friends she made during her long working career.
Maudie is survived by her husband: Linton Sage, 1 daughter: Crystal Yzaguirre, 1 son: Bo Sage (Donna), 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and sister: Barbara Ann Powel (Harold). She was preceded in death by grandson Aaron Yzaguirre.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the First Baptist Church, Immokalee, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Byron Hendry officiating. Burial will follow at the Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
