elanie Joyce Reagan, 48 of Clewiston, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016.
Mrs. Reagan was born in Lake Wales, Florida to Julio Ramon Catala and Gloria Jean Catala. She grew up riding horses and was involved in the Clewiston 4-H horse program (Golden Bits) her entire youth. Melanie won a variety of horse shows including but not limited to western pleasure, halter class and was part of an equestrain drill team originating in the Clewiston area.
Melanie met the love of her life, Paul "Dean" Reagan, while living in Bradenton, Fl in th 1990's, They were together until Deam passed away in 2000. Melanie had a true appreciation for the outdoors and enjoyed the simple things in life. She spent countless hours with her Rottweiler Max, and doted on her mother's poddle, Jessie.
She is survived by her father, Julio Catala, brother Raymond J. Catala (Sarah) along with niece Dusty Ann T. Catala and nephew Aaron J. Catala. Melanie's family will always cherish her spirit and memories. There will be a Celebration of Life gathering on September 2, 2016 at 647 Hendry Isles, Blvd, Clewiston FL from 3:00-5:00 pm.
