Minerva Olvera's Obituary
Minerva Olvera was called into the Lord's open arm's May 13, 2016.
Minerva was known to all as Minnie and put up a strong fight with numerous illnesses. She had worked at Popeyes Chicken before being unable to work the last few years.
Minnie was born November 19, 1981 in Naples to mother Emilia Olvera. However her aunt Maria (Tila) Olvera was known as her second mother.
Minnie loved all types of music, but her favorite artist was Usher. She liked anything Betty Boob and purple was her favorite color. She was a Gator fan and loved to spoil her nieces and nephews--her love of baking helped to spoil them!
She leaves behind to mourn her passing, mother: Emilia Olvera; 2 sisters: San Juana Alfaro and Melissa Olvera; 1 brother: Juan Olvera; 5 nieces and nephews; second mother Maria (Tilia) Olvera, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Brister Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 6-8 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
