Modesto Perez, 61, of Fort Myers and Immokalee, Fla died in Fort Myers on April 29, 2023, after a long illness. He was born in Sherman, Texas on August 21, 1961, to Margarito Gutieeres Perez and Sofia Fuentes Salinas. He enjoyed his job as a carpenter and fishing when he had a chance.

He leaves behind a wife; Laura C. Perez, daughter; AnaLaura Perez and three sons; Raymond Perez, Rudy Perez, Alejandro Perez along with four grandchildren.

There will be a viewing on Wednesday May 3, 2023 at Brister Funeral Home Chapel from 6-8pm and a funeral service on Thursday May 4, 2023, 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
