Opal Bryan Simmons left us to be with the Lord on Sunday December 8,2013 in Naples, Florida. She lived in the area all her life having been born in Rural Collier County in 1935.

She leaves to mourn her one granddaughter; Amy Lynn Dupree (Ronald) of Naples, a sister; Jewel Townsend of Labelle and two young men she raised as if her own; Timothy Jacks and Raymond Jacks, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She will have a graveside burial at the Baptist Cemetery of Immokalee on Friday December 13,2013 at 11:30am. The cemetery is located on 11th Street next to Highlands elementary and Friendship Baptist Church.
