We are saddened to announce the unexpected  passing of Oralia Reyna Nunez on August 23, 2022. She had just turned 74 in June.

Oralia was a giving person and still had friends from years and years ago. She was born in Edinburg, Texas to father Jose T. Reyna and Olivia Aguirre Reyna on June 23, 1948. She married her beloved husband Raul Nunez Sr. and between raising her loving family and working in the School System as an Assistant Teacher she enjoyed playing bingo and being a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and working with the children.

She leaves many to pass on her memories including her husband Raul Nunez Sr, 2 sons: Raul Nunez Jr, and Ricardo Nunez, 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, 1 sister: Hilda Reyna, and 3 brothers: Richard Reyna, Lucio Reyna, and Jose Reyna, along with in-law's, nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family and many friends. Oralia was preceded in death by her son Rene in 2014.

Calling hours/visitation will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Brister Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00-7:45 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 am.. Following the service burial will take place at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens, Immokalee.
