Pedro Hernandez, Jr. passed away at Lakeside Pavillion in Naples, Florida, December 20, 2012.

Mr. Hernandez was born to his late parents; father Pedro Hernandez, Sr., and mother Delores Pena Hernandez. He was born in LaVilla, Texas April 29, 1942.

Pedro enjoyed fishing, listening to Mexican music, going to the casino and being with family and friends.

Before getting sick Pedro lived with his god-daughter who was also his niece but was more like a daughter; Sylvia Munoz and her husband Benjamin along with their seven children.

He is survived by two brothers; Jose Maria Hernandez (Eva) and Manuel Hernandez (Antonia), one sister; Concepcion Garza. God-daughter Sylvia Munoz (Benjamin) special nieces; Rose M. Juarez and Norma Munoz, along with his grandchildren, nieces and nephews extended family and friends.

Visitation with a full Catholic Rosary will be held at Brister Funeral Chapel on Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 6-8 pm with Father Onorio officiating. Cremation was requested.
