Mr. Rafael Sierra Vera Sr. passed away at hospice in Naples, Florida on August 30, 2022.  He was 88 years old.

Rafael was born in Mexico to father Guadalupe Sierra and mother Maria de la Ruz Vera on October 24, 1933. He married his wife Angelina and until retiring he worked in the agriculture fields. He loved being with his family and antique collecting.

Rafael leaves many to mourn his passing, including his wife Angelina Vera, 4 daughters: Imelda Martinez, Leticia Santana, Ernestina Diaz and Evangelina Hardbring, 5 sons: Rafael Sierra Jr, Eleazar Sierra, Juan Sierra, Miguel Sierra and Salvador Sierra along with 23 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Calling hours/visitation will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022 beginning at 9:30-11:00 am at Brister Funeral Home Chapel. The graveside service will begin at 11:30 at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens followed by the burial.
