Heaven gained an angel May 29, 2021 when Raul Diaz 64 of Immokalee, passed away after a long hard fought illness. He was in Tampa surrounded by his loving family when God gave him his wings. Raul was born April 17, 1957 in Puerto Rico and worked irrigation in the agriculture fields. He loved to travel and throughout his life Raul his wife Alicia and their sons saw many different sights and locations on their vacations together.

His was a loving man, he would always put his family before himself or anything else. He was known as a man that would help anyone that needed help. Even when he was sick he would try to do anything he could. He enjoyed his hats and had his favorite ones. To his family he was their hero, they called him "King" and the loved flowed between him and his beloved family. Raul will be missed by all whose lives he touched. The family is having even a harder time as they have lost 3 family member in the last couple months and ask for your prayers.

Raul is survived by his beloved family, wife Alicia Lopez Diaz, four sons; Raul Diaz, Jr. (Sandra), Wilfredo "Freddie" Diaz (Jeimy) Luis Diaz (Lorrie) and Ricardo Diaz (Tommie) eighteen grandchildren, one brother; Miguel Diaz, Jr., four sisters; Anna Diaz, Maria Munoz Diaz, Lydia Maldnado, and Consuelo Diaz along with many many extended family and friends.

Calling hours/visitation will be Friday June 11, 2021 from 6:00-7:45 pm at Brister Funeral Home Chapel.  The Funeral will be held on Saturday June 12 beginning at 10:00 am at the chapel with burial to follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
