Rebecca H. Salazar 56 of Immokalee, Florida passed away unexpectedly Sunday September 26, 2010.

Mrs. Salazar was born August 26, 1954 in Ohio to Eluterio Herrera and Aurora Ledesma Herrera. She was married for over 41 year to Alvaro Salazar. They married in Clewiston, Florida in 1969.

Rebecca will be remembered for her love of her family and friends. Her love of going to the Casino and smoking. She also enjoyed singing and dancing.

She is survived by her husband Alvaro Salazar, children; Griselda Trujillo, Daniel Salazar, Sergio Salazar,and Monica Salazar, thirteen (13) grandchildren, mother Aurora Herrera, three bothers; Jose, Rodolfo and Alonso, four sisters; Rosario, Oralia, Margarita and Maria-Elena. She was preceded in death by three sisters; Dora, Ester and San Juana, one brother; Fernando and her father Eluterio Herrera.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 1, 2010 from 5-7 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Immokalee. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at the church beginning at 9:00 am. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
