Rhonda Yvonne Hardin DeLisle, a devoted mom, a doting grandma, and a loving daughter and sister, died in the arms of her loving son on Friday, May 26, 2022, in North Hollywood, California after an extended illness.  Rhonda was born May 12, 1953 in Memphis, TN.  Along with her family, she moved to Immokalee, Florida in 1968.  She was a graduate of Immokalee High School and earned an associate degree from Edison Community College.

Rhonda had many different jobs during her lifetime.  She was a tutor and substitute teacher in the Collier County Schools, she managed apartment complexes, she worked in real estate, she and Mark owned and operated a bait and tackle shop, she worked at Winn Dixie and the Seminole Gaming Palace, and after she relocated to Los Angeles, she worked at Goodwill.  She had a keen interest in Ancestry.com and spent many hours enjoying working with that.  Her husband Mark was ill with diabetes and she was a great caretaker for him until his death in 2000.

Rhonda was predeceased by her husband, Mark, her father, Alvis Hardin, her father-in-law Bill DeLisle, her mother-in-law Pat Bermudez, her step father Kenneth Bond, and her grandparents.

She is survived by her son Mark, his wife Claudia, and two grandsons, Mark Allen III and Wyatt Ulrich, from North Hollywood, California, her mother Norma Hardin Bond from Lehigh Acres, Florida,  her brother Dr. William C. Hardin (Diane) from St. Mary's, Georgia, her sister Janet Munns (Paul) from Lehigh Acres, two brothers-in-law Steve DeLisle (Janice) and David Adams-DeLisle (Joe), her father-in-law Jose Bermudez, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family would like to thank all those who lifted Rhonda up in prayer the last several months. Your outpouring of love is appreciated and shows us how much she was loved by so many people.  We also give thanks to her caretakers at Valley View Care Center in North Hollywood, California.

Rhonda was a lover of animals, and in lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made in her name to Caloosa Humane Society, 1200 Pratt Boulevard, Labelle, FL 33935.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, June 18 ^th at the Baptist Cemetery 820 N. 11 ^th Street, Immokalee, FL 34142.  She will be laid to rest beside her husband.
