Ricardo Jorge Martinez of Immokalee passed away after an extended illness on May 26, 2022.  He was 70 years old.

Ricardo was born in Brownsville, Texas to father Juan Martinez and mother Alicia Jorge Martinez. He married his wife Sixta and they raised their family in Immokalee. He worked in the agriculture fields. He LOVED the Dallas Cowboy.  He watched all their games and kept up with any news about the team.

He is survived by 3 daughters: Frances Vidaurri, Dora Strickland and Maria Yzaguirre 2 sons: Jesus Vidaurri and Jose Vidaurri, 20 grandchildren,  29 great-grandchildren, son and daughters-in-law, extended family and friends.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 am.  Burial will follow the service at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
