Richard Damien Gamez, 31 years old of Naples, Florida died on April 23, 2013.Richard was born on June 25, 1981 to mother Sandra Clanton Medrano and father Angel Luis Gamez in Naples, Florida.He spent 6 years in the ARMY as a computer specialist, with 1 year spent  in Korea. He was honorably discharged and had recently been working at a Radio Station as a Programer.  Mr. Gamez received his Bachelor's Degree from FGCU in business communication.  He recently finished school for his Bachelor's Degree from  the Berkley School of Music.  Richard loved all kinds of music, and his family.  Last week for his mother's birthday, he surprised her and just the two of them went to Cape Canaveral and went skydiving.

He will be greatly missed and remembered by his family, including;mother;  Sandra Medrano (Martin),  father Angel Luis Gamez (Kelli), maternal grandmother ; Dorothy Hester and maternal grandfather;  Cecil Clanton.  Two bothers;  Nicholas Gamez (Donna) and Adam Gamez (Pamela),  two sisters;  Joaquina Ochoa (Jose), and Angelica Gamez.  Two nieces and two nephews, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather Pedro Gamez , June 2012.

There will be a visitation on Sunday,  April 28, 2013  at Brister Funeral Chapel  from 6:00-7:30 pm.   The funeral service will also be held at the same chapel on Monday,  April 29, 2013  beginning at 10:00 am.  Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
