Robert Rivers age 78 of Naples, FL passed away at his home surrounded by family on the morning of December 22, 2011.

Mr. Rivers was born in Homeland, Florida June 13, 1933 to father Barry L. Rivers and mother Leslie Storey Rivers.

He married his wife of 55 years Lorraine Hamby Rivers May 12, 1956 in Immokalee, FL.

He is survived by his wife Lorraine Rivers and four children. Three daughters: Joyce Brown, Barbara McCaa, Karen Prescott and son: Robert Rivers Jr., eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, brother JB Rivers, sister Francis Townsend, and many friends.

Robert's passion in life was first his family and second tractors and hunting. He was an avid turkey hunter.

All friends and family will gather for a grave side memorial on the Baptist Cemetery Grounds at 801 N. 11th St. Immokalee,
