Rosa Lara Jaramillo passed away at Lehigh Regional Medical Center November 26, 2013 following a brief illness.

She was born in Refugio, Texas on October 18, 1925 to father Cruz Lara and mother Victoriana Zuniga Lara.

She had many hobbies that included gardening, mexican cooking, sewing and embroidery. She loved flowers, especially roses,all colors of roses were her favorite. Rosa was one of 13 siblings: 7 girls and 6 boys.

Rosa will be missed by all who knew her, including (5) daughters: Gloria H. Mejia, Victoriana Anderson (Larry), Maria Massengale (Don), Yolanda "Jo" Long (Dave) and Marisela "Marsi" Tishner (Brian)
(2)sons: Agustin Jaramillo (Rosario) and Pedro Jaramillo Jr., along with many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. (1) sister Maria Aurora Avalos. She was preceded in death by daughter: Irma Guadalupe Minniear Cruz.
A viewing will be held Tuesday December 3, 2013 at Brister Funeral Home Chapel from 4-6 pm. Final disposition will be cremation.
