Rosa Roman 62 of Immokalee was called into the loving arms of Jesus December 18, 2018. She was born to father Frutoso Roman Palomores and mother Marcian Alguisiras Gonzalez in Acapulco, Mexico September 4, 1956. She was a woman that made sure to take care of her family, she worked hard everyday and recently moved back to Immokalee from Texas, where is worked everyday  there to pay her bills.

Her favorite things were dancing--she told her granddaughter just recently "when I feel better we will go dancing with you and your mom" Mrs. Roman also enjoyed going to flea markets.  She lost her grandson Juan Manuel Herrera, Jr. of this year and between that and getting ill, she never seemed able to bounce back.

Rosa leaves behind her husband: Juan Vargas Botello, 4 children: Luis Alonzo Garcia, Jr., Blanca Estella Garcia, Fabian Garcia, Fabian Garcia and Edgard Lee Garcia, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchild, 1 sister: Petra Zaragosa along with many nieces and nephews and extended family. She was preceded by grandson Jaun Manuel Herrera May 5, 2018.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Brister Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00-8:00 pm. The service will be Graveside- at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens on Thursday, December 27, 2018 beginning at 10:00 a.m.
