Rose Martinez 69 of Immokalee, passed away after a brave and long fight.

Mrs. Martinez was born in Yazoo City, Mississippi January 3, 1949 to father Arthur Marshall and mother Lillian Alice Harvey.  In her earlier years she worked at the phone company in Naples and raised her family.  She then worked for Circle K until her illness forced her to stop working in 2013.

Rose loved cooking and will be remembered for her caring loving heart. Her favorite color was purple--she loved it so much she recently dyed her hair purple.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her family; daughter: Phyllis Graham (Wayne) son: John Graham (Victoria) 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Sisters: Alice, Eula and Liz, special sister-in-law: Orea Parker along with many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Rose was preceded in deathby husband Roberto Martinez-May 2018, and 1 daughter: Monica Carter.

There will be a viewing on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 10am, Brister Funeral Home Chapel.  Cremation to follow.
