She was born in Naples, Florida  to father Leonel Garza, Sr. and mother Rosa Alvarado Garza.

SanJuanita will be remembered for many things, including her love of being a wife and mother.  Her joy of baking, Mariachi music and doing crafts.

Mrs. Garcia is survived by her husband Felipe Garcia, Sr.,  father; Leonel Garza and mother Rosa Alvarado Garza, two sons; Felipe Garcia, Jr., and Roman Garcia, two daughters; Melba G. Castro and Jaime Lopez, 10 grandchildren. Six siblings; David (Boo-Boo), Jose (Joey), Angie , Maria Otila (Tila) Hernandez, Leo (Jr.) Thomas (Bay) and Pedro (Pete), along with nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many extended family and friends. SanJuanita was preceded in death by her brother Leonel Garza, Jr.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 16, 2012 at Brister Funeral Home from 6-8 pm.  The funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2012 beginning at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens, Immokalee, FL.
